One Less

As you predicted the day we first spoke - you had a couple of years, and that was all. Although I only knew you for that long - it was plain to anyone, you were an inspiration. For some you were a story of strength and perserverence despite all the bad things that seemed to pile down on you - showing the world that you can truly go on, as long as you had the spirit to do so. You inspired fantastic journies through the imagination - some you joined in on, others you just barely scratched the surface of. You were stronger than many of us ever hoped to be, and while we aim to be as strong as you one day - we will never aim to replace you. Because you are You. And the world is just a little more empty without you now. One less Daughter, One less Niece, one less Grand Daughter, One less Friend. One less Pillar, One less Star, One less Writer. One person leaves, and takes all of those things with them. Forever, however, you're immortalized. Emblazoned on our hearts and minds, so it's not Goodbye, it's See ya Later Alligator. Your ship'll come to port one day, and we'll see you again. Until then, We won't fret, and think on the better times, the times we spent with you, and the Myriad of ways you inspired us to do things that we wouldn't have normally done.
